A VERY RARE 1G-1G ORIGINAL AND SCARCE 1963 FIRST ISSUE RED PARLOPHONE LABEL SINGLE FROM THE BEATLES.

Item Description & Condition:

Released by Parlophone, UK on the 11th January 1963 - this First Issue vinyl 45 is on the distinctive RED Parlophone Label with Silver Printed text, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd....’ label rim and With ‘Recording First Published 1963’, With Dick James Music Co Ltd publishing credits.

Both record labels are in Very Good Plus condition, there is no fading to the Red background and no fading to the clear Silver Printed Text, there are several play signs to the centre of each record label.

Side 1stamped matrix is: 7XCE 17217-1N and Side 2: 7XCE-17218-1N.

This very first pressing Factory Sample Single has first issue stampers on each side as follows, Side 1 stampers: MPT 1 G and Side 2: MPT 1 G.

Both sides of the Vinyl Single are in Very Good condition, both sides of the single have been well played and show several surface scratches and hairlines, there are no deep scratches or scuffs to either side.

Play Quality:

The single plays well on both sides considering it’s condition, there are no skips or sticking to the tracks, with just mild background crackle and the odd pop, otherwise a surprisingly very nice sound quality.

The Vinyl 45 comes in its original coloured Parlophone Company Sleeve, which is in very nice Excellent condition, showing just light creasing, there are NO seam splits or tears.

A rare 1G/1G first issue of this UK Beatles second single release.
