THE BEATLES: ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’ – AN ORIGINAL 1963 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE MONO VINYL LP – PMC 1202.
This is an original 1963 UK 5th pressing mono vinyl LP for The Beatles first UK Album release, ‘Please Please Me’ originally released on the 22nd March 1963.
The LP is a 1963 5th pressing on the traditional black & yellow Parlophone record Labels, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Recording First Published 1963’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in beautiful Near Mint condition, super clean record labels, showing just a couple of play signs.
Side 1 matrix, XEX 421-1N/Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 14 LL and Side 2: 4 TH.
There is a two letter KT Tax Code to the centre of side 1 record label.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in without hesitation in Near Mint condition, this heavy vinyl LP is an immaculate example, a super clean and glossy well cared for LP, without scratches or scuffs, and no visible surface hairlines.
The LP plays with absolutely clear and uninterrupted sound quality from beginning to end, without clicks, pops, skips and crackle, a simply stunning sound quality from this 1963 LP.
The LP comes in its original Use Emitex Polythene Lined Printed Bag which is in Excellent condition, no seam splits, just light creases.
And is housed in it’s original Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd three flip back sleeve, the picture sleeve is in beautiful condition, the front panel of this sleeve is in immaculate Near Mint condition, and still retains it’s high gloss laminate shine, with no LP indentation, the spine edge and the other two edges are undamaged and the spine print clearly legible.
The reverse panel is super clean and bright with only mild handling signs to the opening edge, and a small crease to the bottom flip-back.
This is a really impressive example of an original 1963 5th pressing LP, for the Beatles UK debut album.
