THE COVER:    GOOD+

NOT THE BEST OF SLEEVES.  NO MAJOR LAMINATE LIFT, BUT PLENTY OF LAMINATE CREASES. SOME AGE STAINING ON REAR SLEEVE, SOME CORNER WEAR / EDGE WEAR, SPINE WORN AND READABLE IN PLACES. 2 FLIP BACKS ARE CLEAN AND IN TACT, TOP FLIP BACK HAS DAMAGE (SELLOTAPED INSIDE (about 15cm) AND MISSING IN PLACES.

THE VINYL:   GOOD+

SEVERAL SCRATCHES (SOME FEELABLE), SEVERAL HAIRLINES AND SCUFFS, BUT IT PLAYS STRONG AND FAIRLY CLEAR. IT PLAYS WITH SOFT CLICKS AND CRACKLES ON BOTH SIDES MAINLY NOTICEABLE IN BETWEEN TRACKS. NO STICKS BUT HAS A  COUPLE OF SMALL JUMPS ON 'LOVE ME DO

 FAIRLY CLEAN LABELS, WITH SOME FINE SCRATCHES, NO WRITING. HAS SPINDLE MARKS AND WEAR AT CENTRE HOLE. IN NEED OF A GOOD CLEAN.

THE INNER SLEEVE:   GOOD+

Poly-lined Emitex inner sleeve, has name written on one side, has creasing and two tears (approx 2cm and 7cm, repaired with sellotape), no splits, no edge wear or corner wear

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records.

I have added a(+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I try to grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

Post & Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £15 are sent 'Signed For' and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
