Grading:
All open (not factory sealed) albums are “spot play graded”: A few seconds of every track are listened to in order to determine quality and consistency. I want a purchased album to be as close to the buyer's expectations as possible. I have sold thousands of albums and even the most experienced buyers consider my grading to be very safe and conservative.
We use a more strict system of grading than Goldmine standards (see internet search engine). Most items that we will choose to list will have a VG+ grade or better. Our VG+ means that an album will play like new with very nominal, if any, background noise. VG+ means that there may be very slight imperfections in appearance, such as hairline scratches. Our descriptions will always note pronounced defects and, usually, minor or trivial faults. We will not use a NM grade unless we can verify that an album has been played only a few times and is indeed near mint. We have bought many albums off of the internet and our VG+ grade is often another's NM grade.
Shipping:
We only charge for the shipping rate and required materials. Multiple purchases will be combined to offer the lowest shipping cost possible. Media Mail is the customary means of domestic shipping as it is the least expensive and is often delivered approximately a week from the ship date. We are happy to use any service that you request, and it is best to notify us of any relevant shipping needs ASAP as it may take an additional business day to gather the relevant information. Delivery confirmation is included with all shipments, and we will provide insurance and any other routine service at your cost.
We will charge one dollar ($1) for an additional album.
We will ship to anywhere in the world; please contact us for a quote for international shipping as soon as possible so there are no delays in shipping. International shipping usually costs between $8-$15. Please also let us know your preferred international shipping method, so that we may provide you the correct quote.
