Description

An exceptionally rare and unique piece of Beatles history. This is a genuine 1988 French test pressing for the "Past Masters, Vol. 1 & 2" double LP compilation. This type of pressing, often an acetate or reference copy, was made in very limited numbers for quality control before the final commercial release. It includes the original production sheets from EMI Pathe Marconi, detailing the tracks and runout information. A true collector's gem.

Condition

  • Vinyl: VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Both records are in very good condition with a high gloss. There are some light surface scuffs and minor, superficial marks that are typical for test pressings, but they do not appear to affect playback. The labels are clean.
  • Sleeve: Generic White Sleeve (VG) - The generic white sleeves show significant signs of aging, with yellowing, creases, and some tears, as is common for items of this type. The production sheets themselves are fragile but intact.

Packaging & Shipping

Your record will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. It will be placed in a new anti-static sleeve and shipped in a sturdy, double-walled cardboard mailer with corner protectors. All shipments will be sent with tracking and insurance. Local pickup is also available in Belgium, to be arranged at a mutually convenient location.
