PAUL McCARTNEY: 'RAM' – A LATE 1971 UK ISSUE STEREO APPLE VINYL LP - PAS 10003.
SUPERB EXAMPLE, FIRST - 1' MATRICES ON BOTH SIDES, MINT MINUS RECORD LABELS, EXCEPTIONAL MINT MINUS VINYL, GLOSSY LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
This SUPERB example of Paul McCartney's Highly Acclaimed Vinyl LP 'RAM' was originally released by APPLE Records UK on the 21st May 1971, and Paul’s second Album release. However this later 1971 release features the lighter green Apple Record labels, With 'Mfd in U.K…' and 'An EMI Recording' label text.
Both sides of the record labels are in Mint condition, superb new looking record labels, with nothing more than a couple of light centre spindle lines.
Matrix and stamper information is as follows: Side 1 matrix: YEX 837-1/Side 2: YEX 838-1.
Side one stampers are : 14 GGG, Side 2 stampers are: 3 GDP.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, superb vinyl surfaces, with just a couple of very light surface hairlines visible.
The vinyl LP comes in a white made in Gt Britain inner bag, which is in undamaged Excellent condition, no seam splits or tearing, just light creases.
The original front and reverse laminated gatefold Sleeve is a superb example, the front and reverse of the sleeve are in Near Mint condition, the colours are vibrant and very glossy, the inner gatefold part of the sleeve is in Excellent condition, there is some glue damage to the bottom of the sleeve, this problem is common with this sleeve, during the manufacturing process the gatefold sleeves were closed before the glue was completely dry, and has resulted in slight damage to the inside part of the sleeve (see scan of gatefold). The spine edge is in perfect undamaged condition, and all wording readable.
The album plays extremely well without any skips, a great sound quality.
