Description
This is the very first pressing of The Beatles Please Please Me 1963 LP, catalogue number 1202.
It is the mono version, with the original Parlophone black & gold label and Dick James credits on Side 1.
SIDE 1 MATRIX XEX 421 - 1N
SIDE 2 MATRIX XEX 422 - 1N
SIDE 1 has a couple of hairline surface marks, SIDE 2 has a couple of scratches, none of which affect play. Slight surface noise in between songs on both sides as you would expect it with a record this age, but it plays through fine. No jumps, no skips, no sticks!
Rating: very good+
Cover is the E.J. Day sleeve, laminated front that has a couple of light creasing. The back has somewhat more ware, the flipbacks suffering some visible damage.
