The Beatles – Please Please Me Genuine 1963 UK red label 45
20th Century Collectables is pleased to offer for sale this ultra-rare vinyl of The Beatles – Please Please Me – 45rpm 7” single on the red Parlophone label – Released on 11th January 1963.
As many collectors will know only tiny numbers of this Parlophone red label 'Please Please Me' were pressed before EMI switched to the more familiar black label. Pressed in late 1962, this early copy comes from the initial batch of pre-release pressings.
Increasingly difficult to find, Please Please Me red labels are set to soar in value over the coming years. This copy has a great set of labels and wonderful audio quality. The 7” single comes in its original Parlophone harlequin sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17217-1N & 7XCE 17218-1N
Stamper codes: 1/L & 2/GG ( very early stampers from the initial pre-release first batch, pressed late 1962 )
Please check out the pictures and read on for further details.
