Description

The Beatles Please Please Me 3rd Yellow & Black Stereo Parlophone with the vinyl in a lovely condition.

Actually the spindle wear belies the fact that this has obviously not been played very much as the sound is crystal clear with nothing more than the occasional static crackle which is probably not there now as I've just played it through. No Pops, No wear to the grooves, No crackles at the very start of side 1 or 2 either! Very nice.

As can been seen by the photo's, there are superficial marks and mostly on side 2 so must have been left out of it's sleeve for a week or so somewhere in it's near 50 year life though incredibly this doesn't affect the sound at all.

Stampers are 1 GD / 1T making this very early for this press.

This also has an undocumented "Indented" surface /  label on one side which seemed to be on very early pressings of Stereo Please Please Me's from this period also as I have seen this a couple of times before.

Cover is in a nice acceptable condition with no tears or anything missing though could do with a clean! This is the very first example of a Stereo Garrord & Lofthouse. This does have a date written on at the back (18th Aug 1964), please see picture.

Being the 2nd type of Fifth pressing of the Stereo Please Please Me..,  there actually was an earlier one with the "Rec First Pub" line more towards the centre hole..
