DESCRIPTION: The Beatles- Please Please Me. 5th Uk press with marix ending 1N/1N, Yellow and black labels with "The Parolphone.." and "Recording 1st published" . Comes with the 1st press sleeve used for the Black and gold versions with Angus Mcbean to far right with the a of angus starting under 2nd s in songs. . Comes with EMiTEX poly lned inner sleeve. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMC 1202 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1963 COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/F+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a fair few hairlines and brushing lines. It also has a feelable surface line that causes a repetetive tck across track 2 side 1 and some of track 3. Played nearly all of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds VG and better apart from the aforementioned tick. Music is clear and loud. Cover is firm and square and has moderate edgewear , heavy cornerwear and moderate creasing. It has a 1" split where top and opening edge join. It has a split along bottom flipback to rear. It has a small name printed in biro to rear sleeve. No other writng, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
