Description
The Beatles "Please Please Me" LP 12" 1964 German stereo export copy on Odeon Records #ZTOX-5550. This was made for export sale to military personnel only (not available for sale to the general public).
Laminated cover shows some yellowing to the lamination from age. There are two 3/8" splits beginning at the top and bottom openings -- the rest of the seams are intact. Overall shelf wear, rubbing, some creasing, dings plus some small tears at bottom of rear cover slick. Initials written in pen lower right rear. I'd rate it VG or VG-.
The vinyl shows a lot of scratches, scuffing. I played it on a Teac GF-350 (a modern CD/phono combo) and it played through with surface noise crackle & pop, and one skip/jump on "I Saw Her Standing There". Labels show wear/discoloration/spindle marks. Runout grooves are stamped (on side one) SHZE-117A-1 and (on side two) SHZE-117B-1. I'd rate the vinyl a G.
