Description
This copy is a Fourth Pressing Summer 1963-January 1964
This album was bought new in 1963 and has remained in the same collection since. There are just three light scratch marks. One on the A side and two on the B, they're barely noticeable and don't effect the sound in any way. This is a very well preserved piece of vinyl. The single only reason I'm selling this is to help towards the funding of a first press.
Here's the bumpf
The Vinyl ~Black label with yellow logo and silver print ~"The Parlophone Co. Ltd." printed at the start perimeter print ~"Recording first published 1963" ~Has KT tax code on the label ~Matrix numbers: Side 1 XEX 421-1N Side 2 XEX 422-1N
The Sleeve ~Large sized "mono" printed on the upper right front corner of the cover ~"Photo:Angus McBean" credit moved to the left. In earlier pressings this photo credit is printed at the extreme right corner. ~Lamination. Ernest J. Day & Co. front laminated sleeve and on the back right flap and upper and lower flaps with diagonal-cut that wrap around to the back side. ~Inner Sleeve. Original die-cut sleeve with "Use 'Emitex' Cleaning Cloth....."
A very fine example of this Pressing. Outstanding condition especially the vinyl.
