1963 The Beatles Please Please Me LP UK Mono 4th Press in a scarce Ernest.J. Day Variant sleeve, where the catalogue number PMC 1202 is not in Bold (fifth picture shows a standard bold cornered Ernest.J. Day sleeve next to this for comparison). As you can see, this text is also about 6mm higher up the rear, the flips being of identical size, but text is very close to the flip. The other desirable pointer to the sleeve is there, the Angus McBean credit is placed just right, but this is my first of these withdrawn non bold corner issues. Beautiful condition sleeve, just check out the high res pics, perfectly readable and undamaged spine, no pen, dirt or splits. Clean labels, several scuffs but no deep scratches as evidenced by the fully excellent playgrade on my Ortofon mono cart through a high end system that plays any noise usually. Matrix endings to the stampers are lowest 1N1N. This has been cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid, has a new antistatic inner added and all resides, separated to prevent splits, in a heavy gauge new poly outer awaiting our careful packing in custom made hard card boxes.
