Here are two UK scarce early 1963 2nd pressings of these 45s on the back & silver Parlophone label.
'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. I LOVE YOU' (R4949)
Matrices: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/RT & 1/RPHG
The 'KT' purchase tax code is in the centre of the 'A' side label, with 'KMPZT' in both run-outs.
Condition: FAIR/GOOD
Played many times with noticeable surface marks/wear, but no major audible faults.
'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'/'ASK ME WHY' (45-R4983)
Matrices: 7XCE 17217-1N & 7XCE 17218-1N
Stamper codes: 1/LT & 1/LP
A single letter 'T' purchase tax code is in the centre of the 'B' side label, with 'MPT' in both run-outs.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD +
Both are housed within the earliest green & white Parlophone company cover which has the 'Instruments' error text on the rear.
Both cover are fully intact but have some writing on.
