Description

So, what's so special about a Xmas-69 1 Emi box copy? Well, the list is long!
The 1 boxers are tube cut magic, basically. That rich warm audio that is so rightly sought after -- is very much in evidence on these copies. Plus in '69 the original stereo masters will have been in excellent condition meaning it was dead easy for Emi technicians to replicate faithfully the sound in the studio early '63. And what about the cut? Well, a day-1 stereo is worth a fortune these days. But a 1\1 cut like this record, here, is precisely the same cut! Why bother messing with a perfect cut....they used it consistently for the next 6 years....makes sense! Stampers 2-OH 1-OD.
Gramophone text in evidence in perimeter. Heavy pressing. G&L cover with flips plus EMI advertising inner.

Vinyl (NM) In super condition and has only seen light careful use. Full original '69 lustre - hardly touched! Under close inspection I an only make out a couple of  slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEARMINT level of playback - guaranteed. What is not to like? Original DAY1 cut --- '69 heavy duty tube cut banger! Early stampers too....and it shows!!! Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A clean player - fullstop. If you have ever heard anything even close to this...moneyback!
Cover (Ex-) Lovely clean and flat front. Slight crease in bottom tight - but not a problem....Flipbacks are all intact and secure. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+)
