Beatles Please Please Mono Gold Label Not for Sale Demo / Promo
Description:
This is a major rarity. You have the mono gold label of which somewhere around 25,000 copies were pressed, and then you have the promo/not for sale issued copies, which number possibly less than 100 copies. This is the first promo Beatles LP. It would have been given to UK radio stations, would have only been BBC local stations in 1963.
I added this item to the collector's website 'your-collection'. It's a Dotcom site where you can zoom in to the images below and see them at a much higher resolution. The site hosts my collection and gives me searchable unique lists of my choosing so I can see exactly what I own and what I need. I know what's in my collection and the value of all my items and my lists at any time - with a growth factor of my choosing. I get free eBay templates, with links to my hosted images at 'your-collection', making my eBay listings more professional and easier to list. There's eBay snipe as well. Go take a look and see how much it has to offer the collector.
Condition Description:
The sleeve has stains on the rear and at some point has had a name that has had Tippex painted over. The flibacks are creased in parts.
The vinyl has lots of surface marks which can be viewed in strong direct from an LED lamp or strong daylight. Inside the home they do not show. There are several deeper stylus scratches.

Shipping policy
I'll ship to anywhere in which the item can be tracked door-to-door and fully insured. I won't ship to Italy because there are so many horror stories of items going missing in transit and there being no tracking. Lots of people have ended up losing out by having to refund for items.
I try to get items packed and shipped within three days of payment coming through and normally easily achieve that but I do work away quite a lot and of course it's not always possible if I'm not home until the weekend.
Return policy
I give a no-quibble money-back guarantee on all my items. If you don't like it then just send it back for a refund. Send it back in the original condition, well-packed, insured and tracked within the time prescribed in the listing.
Payment policy
Payment is by Paypal or bank transfer.
On 12-Jan-20 at 19:32:46 GMT, seller added the following information:I have just play tested and there are no skips, jumps or ticks. There is crackle between tracks, which on the quieter tracks, such as Anna can be heard in the background. But there is absolutely nothing greater than that. These early Parlophone LPs were pretty much bomb proof and surface marks have little to no effect. Even deeper marks, where the stylus has run across the vinyl have no effect as the play surface is so far down between the grooves. The vinyl of course has got thinner and thinner over the years, so later pressings don't hold up to any punishment.
My test result and description is exactly the same as the stereo version I am selling, incredibly enough. There is crackle on that one too but no more than that. This one has many more surface marks etc. but sounds exactly the same albeit in mono (which is how this album should be played of course).
