Description
All the vinyl I sell I personally listen to on my Rega P3 before listing to ensure correct description.No discernible surface noise, clicks and pops means the record plays as near new with nothing to mar your listening pleasure.
I only sell vinyl in top condition unless I state otherwise.
The only vinyl I sell which is not near mint are possibly rare records which are very hard to find and a less than near mint album is acceptable because of the scarcity.
I always describe this vinyl as it sounds notifying the surface noise clicks pops etc.

Label – Parlophone PMC1202 – Black/Gold - Dick James Credits
Matrix - XEX421-1N and XEX422-1N.
Stampers - Stampers are 1L and 1GG.
Year – 1963
Vinyl – The vinyl is in well played but good clean condition to look at. There are quite a few surface marks/scratches commensurate with age. Despite these marks it does play exceptionally well for age with no discernible surface noise, clicks, pops or distortion. There is a good distinct solid bass line throughout. There is a little light noise on the silent grooves between tracks. There are negligible spindle marks on the label.
Inner Sleeve – I believe this is the original “Use Emitex” poly lined paper sleeve in very good clean condition.
Outer Sleeve – Ernest J Day sleeve with laminated front to flipback seams with an unlaminated rear. The front is in good condition. There is some wear on the bottom right hand corner Angus McBean photo credit. The unlaminated rear is in good condition with some aging marks and a little fading. All the tracklist and narrative are fully legible.
The spine is intact and proud. There is a fair degree of edge/corner wear and creasing. Top and bottom flipback seam are showing a fair degree of wear. (See Photos)

Short-lived first press with black/gold labels, the main pressing with classic Parlophone black & yellow labels was released a couple of months later.
