This is a collection of first pressings of The Beatles first, second and forth UK album releases, Please Please Me, With the Beatles and Beatles for Sale.
The albums have been bought, owned and played and should be considered as well used condition. They have been well looked after but show the usual signs of wear for records that are approaching 50 years old. These have all been owned, played over and over and loved for many years.
Please Please Me is on the original Parlophone Black and Gold label, has the Dick James credits on both sides, is stamped XEX-421-IN on side 1 and XEX-422-IN on side 2. The cover has the page mono printed in top eighth and corner, Angus McBean photo credit in the far bottom right hand corner and has EJ Day credit on the reverse. Album cover is very worn as per pictures, the bottom edge has split about half way across but please note no Sellotape repairs attempted at all. Discoloured with age and worn most of the way around the edge. Inner sleeve in good condition. Record shows signs of surface scratches however still plays without skipping although with background crackle consistent with a record of this age. All in all a good example of a very rare original pressing of a 50 year old record.
Also included With the Beatles and Beatles for Sale, both original first pressings, covers in better condition than Please Please Me (these weren't played as often).
