THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME
The Album Cover has the PARLOPHONE label and is in STEREO. The Photo of 'the lads' was taken by ANGUS MC BEAN - His name is on the bottom right hand corner of the LP. The rear of the album cover has the Cat No PCS 3042 (top right). The Album cover was printed by ERNEST J. DAY & CO LTD LONDON (located bottom right). There are also some other numbers after the printers name - PMC 1202 PCS 3042. The cover is in very good condition, no rips or rears - but slightly dog eared to the corners - but otherwise good considering its age.
The album itself has a Gold/ Black label with the Cat No PCS 3042. The label is very clear and has not faded or been damaged. Other references include the code (YEX.94) on side 1 and (YEX.95) on side 2. Etched on the vinyl on side 1 is the reference YEX 94-1 and on side 2 the etching reads YEX 95-1. Embossed on the centre of the label are the initials ZMT in a triangular formation on side 1 only.
Side 1 track No's 1,2,6 and 7 are attributed to Dick James Mus. Co. (This includes Please Please Me).
Side 2 track No's 4,6 are attributed to Dick James Mus. Co.
Condition of record - I remember the record being played by my parents when I was younger, but I do not have a record player to check it. When held up to the light there are a few very minor scratches that I personally don't think will cause the record to jump.
