Description
DESCRIPTION: The Beatles- Please Please Me. 5th UK press with matrix ending 1N/1N, front laminated G & L flipback sleeve with large mono and original poly lined Emitex inner. Black and yellow labels with Parlophone text, "Recording first published" and no "sold in UK". Very clean sleeve and vinyl looks and sounds great. Vinyl has been kept in a separate white inner and the over has been kept in a poly sleeve since I got this a few years ago. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMC 1202 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1963 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen. If you look long enough and hard enough with the vinyl tilted into light you might pick up a few light brushing lines. Played in its entirety on my budget deck. This is the best sounding copy i have ever heard. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Clear, clean and loud. On this deck I could not even detect any background sound between the tracks on side 1. The latter tracks on side 2 have only a trace, again only between the tracks! . Cover is in really nice shape. It is firm and square and has less than light edge wear, light corner wear and less than light creasing. It has a tiny 1cm near tear to rear opening edge or i would grade this sleeve as EX, Clean , undamaged flipbacks. Original Emitex inner has light wear only and no splits. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BEATLES/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
