The Beatles Please Please Me Hard to imagine anyone not being blown away by this copy...it's '63 vintage and has a clean warm delivery.
An original 4th press of PPM on UK Parlophone. Matrix 1N/1N -- 1st cut. NO 'sold in uk statement'. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original EJD cover. Also included is an original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete a very nice collectors LP. You may see some cheaper options of this 4th press however I urge you to check the overall condition whilst not without a few age related marks this one I have for sale here is a nice example.
The Vinyl is grade VG+ In super condition for year and has only seen light use. There are a couple of light marks per side, one superficial trail - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Superb audio with little background. It's a clean player throughout. I couldn't detect more than a few minor crackles in a couple of isolated spots. Highly recommended. Crank it up, sit back, and relive 1963 in fine fettle. Even the lowkey numbers play clean.
The Cover is In great condition graded at VG+ also and has been cared for down the years. Lovely shiny front with the rear exhibiting minimal ageing which is unusual. Only detractor - one slight smudge mark on rear...but few examples have this nice white back. The spine exhibits minimal wear text fully legible - 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
