Description

The Beatles - Please Please Me Vinyl in MONO.
Excellent Condition

Matrix Numbers XEX 421-1N / XEX 422 1N
Record has Parlophone classic black and yellow labels. The label rim states "The Parlophone Co." and the label mentions "Recording first published" but NOT "Sold in the UK".
Record Grade: Excellent 
The Record is in absolutely fantastic condition. Both sides have no surface marks or superficial hairlines that would normally be found on a record of this age. 
The Record plays exceptionally well with limited crackle other than between the tracks. No big pops or hissing during the play of music, an absolute joy to listen to. Plays loud and clear.
Sleeve and Inner Grade: VG+
The sleeve maintains it's original shape and is robust. There is a nice shine to the front with minimal marks and creases. 
Would have also been marked as excellent had it not been for some small marks and a tiny tear at the bottom right corner.
The inner has some small creases, a tiny tear at the centre window where you can see the record and a small split at one side.

Grading Guide Basis

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition, with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyrics sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: Record can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. The cover or sleeve will have seam splits. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
