Description
After doing a crash course on the Please Please Me issues I can deduce that this is a 3rd or 4th pressing. As i could not find what the prefix YEX 94-1 'P' signifies. Ive highlighted the 'P' in the photos. Advice welcome! You can see it was printed by Ernest J. Day & Co and I'm aware the later issues were printed by Garrod & LoftHouse Ltd. The third and 4th pressings were manufactured between summer 1963 and January 1964 according to the beatles collection website.
The record itself is in good condition, it does not skip or repeat but there is some surface noise in the quieter sections. It does have plenty of hairlines but few only a couple of scratches which i would say are significant which again i have tried to highlight. The cover has some age related wear but there are no rips or tears fortunately.
