Description
The Beatles - 'Please Please Me' PCS 3042. Stereo pressing Condition VG/EX
The Beatles - 'Please Please Me'. Parlophone PCS 3042. UK 1965 fifth pressing.
The front cover has light creasing, but still has a very nice colour and shine. The opening edge is slightly frayed in places, but this does not effect the sleeves shape. The body of the back cover is discoloured, while the flipback edges are still a nice shade of pale white. The back cover has a very nice original 'stereophonic' notice stamped on (stereo was new and perhaps confusing!). The sleeve is graded VG.
The vinyl plays well all the way through on both sides. The fidelity is very sharp, and the sound is clear and crisp. The stereo mix has a great sense of energy, and this copy certainly puts that across well. The vinyl is graded EX.
Comes with original emitex inner sleeve, which is in beautiful condition.
It's very rare to come across original stereo pressings of the Beatles first LP. This copy still has a really great sound, which makes it even rarer. A must have!
All records are sent in protective packaging.
