Description
- Here for sale is this very RARE 3rd STATE peeled 'Meet The Beatles' Stereo LP vinyl record released in early 1964 in The United States. Capitol Records could not manufacture The Beatles first album fast enough on the east coast in early 1964 so they starting using old inventory covers & pasting over the new slicks for 'Meet The Beatles'. I have owned 4 mono paste over covers before but never a Stereo cover. Stereo LP's in 1964 are 10 times RARER than the mono covers. The front slick is a 1962 'Louis Prima' stereo LP. The cover is in very good condition with no seam splits & four square corners. Notice the glue lines. The factory used more than usual to apply the new slick onto. This was a tough peel as you can see by the removed 'Meet The Beatles' slick which is included. The stereo LP record is in excellent condition with hardly any play wear with a few paper scuffs. Also included is the original 1964 Capitol Records blue inner sleeve in very good condition. Thanks Frank
