THE BEATLES  "RARITIES" - ORIGINAL 1978 PRESSING - ENGLISH IMPORT IN VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT CONDITION. This album was bought new by me in 1978 and has been lovingly kept in my collection, in a smoke free home, in a vinyl sleeve ever since then.  I actually have played this very few times since I always preferred to play the original released from the 1960s, but over the years, I just couldn't resist buying a Beatles album when it came out - even if it was a collection of re-released songs. The cover is in excellent condition because what I used to do with many of my albums was to slit the shrink wrap on the album opening side so I could access the album.  Then I would run clear tape along the shrink wrap and into the inside of the album cover so that I didn't get tape on the outside of the album cover.  This helped keep the shrink wrap in place and preserve the album cover.  The cover should look like new under the shrink wrap.  That's what I did here, and that's why you're seeing a reflection on my photos - I couldn't place it anywhere for a photo that there wasn't a reflection.  Although I haven't played this record in a number of years, as I said, I took care of my albums, never left them out of the sleeve, never left them sitting on the record player, and never, never stacked them on the turntable.  But I know it's in excellent condition - looks new as you can see in the. photos. Unfortunately, at my age, it's time to begin downsizing my collections.
