A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE, LAMINATED SLEEVE.
An ORIGINAL1966 UK Parlophone mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘REVOLVER’ album, first released in the UK on the 5th August 1966.
This is one of many genuine Beatles Factory Sample Promotional LPs that will be for sale during the coming weeks. They all originally came from a Music Reviewers collection, and each Album will come with a letter confirming this.
The heavyweight 12” vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in Excellent condition, with just some light centre spindle lines, the printed text is unfaded, the official Factory Sample Sticker is on the side 2 record label.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 605-2 and Side 2: XEX 606-2.
Side 1 stampers: 6 RLM and Side 2: 5 RLG.
There is an embossed KT Tax Code on the centre of the side one record label.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in Excellent condition, clean vinyl surfaces, with nothing more than a few light surface hairline scratches, there are no deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays well through all the tracks, with light background crackle, and the odd click, otherwise a great mono sound quality, and with jumps.
The album comes in a plain white printed in England Inner Bag which is a RESPECTABLE example, with NO seam splits, and just some inevitable light creasing, but nothing serious.
And is housed in its original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse mono printed Sleeve.
The Original Sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition, the sleeve is respectable and shows light age wear and light age toning, and mild corner bumps, the reverse of the sleeve also shows light age wear, the spine edge also shows some light age toning.
