The Beatles ‘Revolver’ album - considered one of most Iconic and Collectible Albums of the 20th Century - was released by Parlophone UK on August 5th 1966.
Album Description/Condition:
This original 1966 UK Parlophone Heavyweight mono Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Sold in UK…..’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
With full title of the song ‘DOCTOR ROBERT, there is another version with an abbreviated text which reads, ‘DR ROBERT’.
Both record labels are in beautifulMint Minus condition. A superb undamaged set of record labels, with no discolouration or fading to any of the printed text, and just signs of a couple of light signs of play.
Side 1 matrix: XEX 605-2 and Side 2 XEX 606-2.
Side 1 stampers: 1 ROA and Side 2: 5 GTO.
The embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the immaculate heavyweight vinyl disc are in Mint Minus condition, beautiful, clean, very well cared for vinyl surfaces to both sides, no scratches, no scuffs, at most just one or two light surface hairlines.
Audio Quality:
All tracks play with a superb and powerful mono sound quality, no skips, no clicks, no background noise, a great fresh mono sound quality.
The LP comes in its original White Made in Great Britain Inner Bag, which is in Excellent condition, with just age toning .
…And is housed in it’s immaculate, Front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending sleeve, which is in beautiful condition, printed ‘mono’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flip backs to the reverse.
This sleeve matches the immaculate condition of the vinyl LP, and is in Mint Minus condition, the Laminated front panel is glossy, cleas firm and white with just a hint of record storage.
The reverse panel of this superb sleeve is super clean, the black, back panel is beautiful with none of the usual finger marks or ring wear. All three of the flipbacks are in undamaged and perfect condition. The spine edge and other edges are also in perfect undamaged condition, and the wording **Revolver The Beatles** is as new.
This is without doubt a beautiful example of this original 1966 Iconic Beatles Album, with beautiful labels, disc, sleeve, and sound quality.
