Description

The Beatles "REVOLVER" LP Early (1st?) UK Parlophone pressing

A WORD ABOUT MY RATING SYSTEM: I AM VERY CONSERVATIVE; I DO NOT USE "EXCELLENT" AS A RATING AS IT IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY MY 2013 EDITION OF "GOLDMINE RECORD ALBUM PRICE GUIDE (7th EDITION)" AS A VALID "GOLDMINE" DESCRIPTION. MY "VG+" WOULD BE AN "EXCELLENT" OR EVEN "NM-" WITH MANY OTHER SELLERS. BID WITH CONFIDENCE; VIEW MY FEEDBACK; SATISFACTION GUARANTEED.

Has "Doctor Robert" side 2 label. Matrix YEX 605-1, YEX 606-1

Jacket is a strong G+, bordering VG. Garrod & Lofthouse laminated jacket. Tape marks at both lower front corners. Ring wear on back cover (honestly exaggerated by the flash photo). Dirt on fold-over edges on rear (see photo 2). Vinyl is plagued with numerous surface marks. I play-tested it all the way through (my favorite Beatles album!) and there are no skips, but there is audible crackling between songs and occasional ticks. All in all a very listenable copy still with good fidelity; a nice "starter" copy for people interested in vintage copies of the Fabs LPs. Yellow Parlophone label. Stereo.
