THE BEATLES- 'REVOLVER' UK STEREO FIRST PRESSING!! ULTRA RARE IN STEREO!!!! 

Starting on auction here is a RARE Beatles record,  a STEREO 1ST PRESSING of their 1966 album, REVOLVER!!!  1st pressings of this album are characterised  by the YELLOW AND BLACK labels with 'sold in the UK' statements  and the times new roman font on the labels, along with the standard laminated flipback parlophone sleeve !!! These early stereo pressings are CONSIDERABLY rarer than the mono versions, as at this time most people had systems for use with MONO recordings, stereo only became the more prominant between the two from 1968!!! In 1965 mono pressings FAR outnumbered the extremly rare STEREO pressings!!!

***The condition of the record shows that it has been played, however visually is still extremely respectable, with an extremely clean playing surface under normal light, with only some light hairlines/ scuffs that are only visible when viewed under a bright desktop lamp. The grading to the visual condition of the record would certainly grade as VERY GOOD!! The all important labels grade as EXCELLENT condition, very clean without any annoying stickers and no discoloration. The record when played does display some VERY LIGHT groove peak wear in places however for the majority this is a very listenable copy, with no distortion, a grading of VERY GOOD for both sides!!!!.***

***The main sleeve is its correct LAMINATED flipback sleeve grading as being in EXCELLENT MINUS condition! A superb example of a sleeve which is nearly always in no better than average condition, the lamination bears no creases, the edges of the sleeve are superb, and the spine is near perfect - only VERY minor rubbing/wear to the corners. Also present is the original EMI advertising inner sleeve which is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition!!

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
