Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 2 MIL poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This First Pressing has a '4' printed below the RIAA logo on the lower back right.
- This copy has been played and shows it. There are scuffs and scratches that are probably audible.
- The paper on board cover has a tight spine seam and the top & bottom opening edges have 2" splits.
- The inner sleeve is missing and I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller played many times and has cherished it as a collectable souvenir of a First Pressing of one of the greatest albums of all time.
- It has been in storage for almost 50 years.

Label variant, note pressing ring distance from center hole, compare to: The Beatles - Revolver.West coast pressing. Unique label design. Similar to labels on The Beatles - Revolver, except that this version does not contain "A SUBSIDIARY OF CAPITOL INDUSTRIES INC" in the radial text on the bottom of the record label.
Also similar to the labels on The Beatles - Revolver, except that the font size and letter spacing on most of the text is different.
