Description
Lovely copy of this classic LP - STEREO 1st pressing. One of the best copies I have ever seen, lovely vinyl which is very hard to beat for sound quality - looks and sounds barely played. Very nice indeed.
Graded as follows:
Record: Excellent, perhaps better - Excellent+. The record has two very very minor marks but they are not scratches and do not affect the sound at all.
Sleeve: At least VG+, but I would say VG++. G&L flip-back sleeve, laminated on the front. This is the cleanest back I have ever seen on a original 1960's LP - no writing, tears, ringwear or any grubbiness. Minor 'thumb' creases on the front - on the right (very common with 60's laminated sleeves). The front has a crease at the bottom left (see photo of George) also, they is a slight dis-colouring running through the centre of the sleeve, top to bottom (I have tried to photograph this issue). This is a pressing issue, not wear and tear and, in my opinion, does not detract from the overall condition very much at all. Pleated-end spine in nice condition - fully legible.
Inner: Emitex, poly-lined, inner sleeve
Labels: No issues, spindle marks but nothing heavy. Includes the text - 'Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Sold in UK'.
