RARE **FIRST PRESSING**, DOCUMENTED AS A **LOUD CUT or LOUD MIX** WITH XEX 579-1, and XEX 580-1 MATRICES.
ORIGINAL 1965 UK Parlophone MONO 12” Vinyl LP for The Beatles 1965 Album ‘Rubber Soul
This FIRST PRESSING variant is documented in the rare record guide as the Loud Cut version. The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and with ‘Sold in UK…’ and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, with no fading to the silver text, and just a few light spider trails around the centre holes.
Official first side 1 matrix is XEX 579-1/ and Side 2: XEX 580-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 GGD, Side 2: 2 LP.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in very nice Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition, the vinyl still retains it’s high gloss surfaces, with nothing more than a couple of very light non sounding surface hairlines.
The album comes in a Lined ‘Use Emitex’ Inner Bag, which is in Excellent condition, with just light age toning.
The First Issue Laminated Ernest J.Day & Co Ltd London sleeve is in Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition, a firm deep glossy front panel with minimal record indentation, with just a couple of light manufacturing laminate pinches, the reverse panel is clean and undamaged, showing just light age toning to the gate edge, all three flip backs are undamaged.
The album plays extremely well with NO skips or pops, just very mild background crackle.
This is a very clean example of this Original UK FIRST ISSUE 1965 Documented Loud Cut Variant.
