THE BEATLES: ‘RUBBER SOUL’ – AN ORIGINAL 1965 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE mono VINYL LP, PMC 1267.
This is an original 1965 UK mono issue vinyl LP for The Beatles sixth UK Album Release,‘Rubber Soul’. Originally a rush release for Christmas on the 3rd December 1965.
The LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘P Date 1965’, Sold in UK and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
Both record labels are in superb Excellent condition, both record labels are undamaged, all printed text is unfaded, all that is visible are a few faint signs of play to the centre of the labels.
The official machine stamped Matrices, Side 1, are XEX 579-5 and Side 2, XEX 580-5.
Side 1 stampers markings: 2 MA, Side 2 stampers: 1 GM.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in Excellent condition, there are NO scratches, NO scuffs, and NO visible marks.
The album plays without faults, a clear mono sound quality, even on the quieter tracks such as Michelle and Girl, there are NO clicks or pops and NO background crackle.
The LP comes in it’s original Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag, the bag has a small tear at the top.
And is housed in its original first issue Garrod & Lofhouse Patents Pending, ‘mono’ front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The front of the original mono Picture Sleeve is in superb Excellent condition. The front panel is super glossy with just a few manufacturing laminate pinches, mild LP storage signs and a small 1” split mark to the top edge caused by the LP rubbing through, (see scan).
The reverse panel of this sleeve is in Excellent condition with just light handling signs, and light age toning in a couple of areas.
This is a nice example of this 1965 Beatles Original mono Pressing album with great sound quality.
