Description

The Beatles  --  "Rubber Soul"  Capitol Records 1965  ST-2442 (Stereo)  This is the original 1st US 1965 stereo pressing. 


Read my extensive description of condition above.  I've "graded" the vinyl as Excellent (some might grade it as VG++)-- there are numerous superficial "defects" visible to the eye upon close inspection -- but none seem to have reached to the depth required to affect the grooves because the vinyl is pretty close to noise free (to my own surprise). The most minor bkgd noise only at beginning or end of tracks and perhaps 1 or 2 very tiny pops or crackles in the entire lp. Audio is almost like a new record that's been played less than a dozen or so times...  Cover has seams split on 3 sides and some minor ringwear and discoloration...


Will ship by USPS Media mail (insured) to valid US addresses within 3 days of cleared payment.

As I'm just an individual seller, not a pro collector or dealer -- It's generally my policy to not accept returns -- I ship with insurance in case of damage by the carrier in transit and I carefully study and describe all material aspects of the vinyl and the cover. I'm happy to answer any questions, provide more pics or even brief audio sample clips of the actual record playing.  So I make sure it goes out to you just as I described it.  If it gets damaged in shipment -- insurance will cover it.

I'm always interested in any buyer concerns and should any arise I will do my utmost to make sure the buyer is happy.

Often considered the turning point  between the early and late Beatles periods...

Certainly a masterpiece (esp. of songwriting)
