APPARENTLY RUSSIA DIDN'T ALLOW ANY BEATLES ALBUMS (OR OTHER WESTERN MUSIC) TO BE RELEASED IN THEIR COUNTRY UNTIL AFTER 25 DECEMBER 1991. (ALTHOUGH I BELIEVE A FEW SINGLES WERE ISSUED IN THE EARLY 60s).

In 1992 the Russian St. Petersburg-based record company Antrop released several vinyl LP’s from (amongst other bands) the Beatles. 

The album titles and the song titles were translated to Russian. 

I have the Russian Antrop releases of  'Help !' and 'Rubber Soul'  (and I think another two which I'll sort out soon).

There was a mix up with the labels because although the tracks on this album are correct, the B side starts off with HELP! (No doubt the mix up was in the translation somewhere!)

THE COVER:    VERY GOOD+

 CHEAP PAPER SLEEVE HAS NO DAMAGE, NO SELLOTAPE, NO WRITING. BUT IT HAS A FEW CREASES, MINOR EDGE WEAR. SPINE FAIRLY CLEAN AND READABLE. IT HAS RING WEAR AND HAS OTHER SIGNS OF AGE RELATED WEAR AND HANDLING MARKS, SO IT'S NOT AS WHITE AS IT ONCE WAS. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL STAIN UNDER THE  !  ON THE FRONT.

THE VINYL:   EXCELLENT 

HAS A FEW MINOR HAIRLINES, VERY MINOR SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES BUT PLAYS, BECAUSE IT PLAYS EXTREMELY WELL, WITH NO STICKS OR JUMPS. HAS VERY FEW CRACKLES  AND A FEW MINOR CLICKS.. NO WRITING ON THE LABELS. NO SPINDLE MARKS OR SPINDLE WEAR. 

THE INNER SLEEVE:   EXCELLENT

 PLAIN PLAIN WHITE SLEEVE WHICH IS APART FROM CREASES AND SOME WRITING, IS NEAR PERFECT

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records.

I have added a(+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I try to grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

Post & Packaging - I try to recycle all packaging so you may get your goods in a recycled packaging / cardboard container. All items over £15 are sent 'Signed For' and I always obtain a 'Certificate of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners.
