Description
I’m putting up for auction my second and last copy of this picture sleeve that I’ve had for a while. So, if you are looking to add this one to your collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves, this auction is for you.
In this auction is 1 Beatles Picture Sleeve WITHOUT a vinyl record because it was not released.
Here are the details:
· “LEAVE MY KITTEN ALONE” b/w “OB LA DI OB LA DA (Alternate Version)” by The Beatles
· This is a PICTURE SLEEVE issued by Capitol Records for an UNRELEASED 45 rpm single RECORD.
· This is Capitol Records B-5439.
· This picture sleeve was scheduled to be released with the 45 RPM single on January 31, 1985. However, the release was cancelled for legal reasons.
· According to Perry Cox, the A-Side was to preview the “SESSIONS” LP, which was also cancelled. The recordings intended for the “SESSIONS” LP were later used in the Anthology project.
· Approximately 1500 of these unreleased sleeves were discovered in 1984.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.
