Description

The Beatles - Mono Collection Red Box. Very rare set. I purchased this set in late March of 1982 at the New York Beatlesfest. Interestingly the person in front of me  bought the last numbered Black Box version. The dealer said he had a couple of the red versions which is for sale now. I only ever played Revolver and Sgt Pepper  to tape. It has been on the shelf all these years. The records and covers are in NM condition. Sgt Pepper does have both sides in mono. Some copies did have side 2   in stereo in the box sets. If any one wants to know which records have original cuttings from the sixty's let me know. The picture of Revolver shows the condition of all  the records.  The only problem is side two of Please Please Me on the last track has a pressing mark which does not affect play.    All records have been cleaned on my VPI cleaning machine.
Note: If you do not have a stereo/mono switch on your equipment, you should use the y-cable set up I have pictured above. Playing mono records in a stereo set up will  cause extra groove wall noise to be introduce. Using a mono switch or the adaptor cables will fix that.

Records will be removed from their jackets to prevent damaged to the jackets. The set will be securely packaged. Pennsylvania residents will be charged 6% sales tax. Returns will be accepted if contacted within 14 days of delivery.
