The Beatles Revolution/How Do You Do It + Picture Sleeve Red Vinyl Single
This very rare red vinyl single has The Beatles would-have-been first single How Do You Do It and an alternate version of Revolution.
From a series of 7" records distributed through Joe Pope’s magazine Strawberry Fields Forever in 1976-1977.
From the disk labels:
"Strawberry Fields Forever Presents a Special Souvenir Record, Celebrating the Third Annual Convention of Beatle Fans Mystery Tour 76 - Boston July/Aug 1976"
This record was the first appearance of "How Do You Do It".
Revolution is from the original TV Promo film soundtrack broadcast on "David Frost Show" in Britain and "Smothers Brothers Show" in the US
The record is in near mint condition!! I bought it at a record store in Chicago around 1984. I never played it. The photos are of the actual item being sold. The label on Side A is a little wrinkly but has been like that since I purchased it, apparently a manufacturing defect. The sleeve is in Excellent condition.
It has been kept in a protective sleeve and in a smoke-free and pet-free environment since I purchased it.
