Description
This is the west coast pressing variant of the original US 1966 mono release (Capitol Records, T 2576). Pressed by Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles. Black labels with color band, and without "subsidiary" in the rim text. This version credits 'Lennon-McCartney' and 'George Harrison' on the labels. While most subsequent versions use all of the writers' full names.
Includes the classic masterpieces / iconic tracks "Taxman," "Eleanor Rigby," "Yellow Submarine," and "Tomorrow Never Knows."
The record was fully tested (listened to all the way through) and sounds great overall! There is some occasional light to medium-light background noise (especially in some of the more quiet spots), but absolutely no skips or significant pops. The record would probably be graded VG/VG(+). There are a some surface scratches, but none that cause any skipping. Upon visual inspection, Side 1 is in slightly better overall condition than Side 2. The album cover is in VG condition, but has been taped on three sides.
