1966 UK FIRST STEREO PRESSING – Highly Collectible
For sale is an original UK first stereo pressing of
Revolver by The Beatles, released on Parlophone – Catalogue number PCS 7009.
First Press Features:
• Black & yellow Parlophone stereo labels
• “Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions…” text
• “The Gramophone Co. Ltd” rim text
• KT tax stamp in centre
• Matrix numbers:
• Side 1: YEX 605-1
• Side 2: YEX 606-1
• Original wide-spine laminated sleeve
• Original Emitex inner sleeve included
This is a genuine 1966 first stereo UK pressing — pressed in much smaller quantities than mono editions, making it highly collectible.
Condition
Vinyl: Some light surface markings consistent with age but plays perfectly through all tracks. No skips or jumps.
Sleeve: Good condition. Wide spine fully readable. Minor age wear typical of a 1966 pressing.
Inner Sleeve: Original Emitex inner included.
