This original copy is a very rare collector's item as it contains the "AudioMatrix" stamp in the run-out area. The date stamp also located in the run-out area indicates the release of this issue as October 11, 1966, therefore two months after the official release in August 1966. This issue is one of the first very early Mono pressings on the Capitol Black Rainbow label with the catalog number T-2576 and without the "Subsidiary" print. The very first labels with the 1st pressing author credits "Lennon-McCartney," which was changed to the composer's full names on the second pressings. A characteristic feature of the "AudioMatrix" pressing is the heavyweight vinyl, this issue is not an exception and the weight of the unflexible vinyl only is almost 170g. There are some contradictions which make this issue quire mysterious. For example, it is not known what pressing plant it was pressed at as AudioMatrix didn't provide Capitol with metal pressing plates, because Capitol was using its own plates. The labels contain a 2.75' pressing ring, which a unique feature of the AudioMatrix press. Very rare to find a 1st Mono pressing still in the original shrink wrap. There is some minor wear to the corners and a very light hint of splitting at the center top, which wasn't enough to pierce through the shrink wrap. The ring wear which you can see on the photo of the back cover is on the shrink wrap and not cover. The vinyl has some light non-feelable hairlines and marks which can be seen under a strong lamp, but nothing serious, with the original glossy luster. The album comes the original yellow inner sleeve in a very shape, having some light splits on the edges.
