Description

Here for sale is this very RARE “Revolver” mono vinyl Lp by The Beatles issued in The United States in 1966. This is the only cover I have ever seen with two hype stickers affixed to the factory shrink in 45 years of collecting The Beatles. The yellow on was to promote the single release while the ‘Win An MGB!’ sticker promotion was to give the Lp more of a English slant since The Beatles were from Britain. Also is the discount price sticker of $3.33. Wow, what a deal for one of the best Rock LP’s ever released. The hype stickers are in very good condition with slight aging wear. The cover is in excellent condition, being mostly protected by the factory shrink over the years. There is a bit of corner tip wear but all 4 are still pretty square. The #6 west coast cover has no seam splits. The matching mono record is also in excellent condition with hardly any play wear. I just played this Lp on my Thornes td 320 turntable and the record plays pretty good mono sound. This is one of the best ways to hear the original Capitol Records mono analogue mixes. Also included is the the original golden rod inner sleeve in very good shape. This valuable Lp will be double boxed for protection through shipment. Thanks Frank
