Withdrawn Mix 11 Tomorrow Never Knows.
This is a stunning not far off archival copy of the very rare 1st press of this classic album.
It’s said that only 600 copies were pressed on the very first day of production before it was withdrawn due to having the “wrong mix” of the track Tomorrow Never Knows.
It was quickly rectified with the “correct mix” and production was then resumed.
There are various differences between the two mixes and the 600 pressed are the only official release of Mix 11.

This particular copy must be one of the very best available with most copies of this condition residing in investment collections.
The Garrod & Lofthouse (patents pending) flip back cover is in remarkable condition considering its 55 years in existence. Apart from a couple of small creases and a very slight bump to the top right corner it is almost as new, the glossy whites are pure with no noticeable discolouration. the rear fares just as well, the spine is also in astonishing condition. I would rate the cover as Mint-
The vinyl itself is amazing with a beautiful rainbow gloss and a very fine deep lustre. One very small blemish between tracks 6-7 on side one (inaudible) and just a few very faint hairlines, also inaudible.
The labels are clear and undamaged with faint spindle marks.
The playback is deep, clear and true.
You will be very hard pushed to find a withdrawn 11 copy in this condition. It deserves to be in a collection and will rise steeply in value in the coming years imo.
This rare vinyl sits comfortably alongside Low Numbered White Albums and Gold labelled Please Please Me albums as one of the rarest and most collectible of Beatles records.
This will have a reasonable reserve but will not be given away cheaply.
