Description
The greatest popular music album of all time in stunning MONO! It needs no introduction.
This is a first pressing of the mix that the Beatles officially sanctioned.

Record Collector Magazine Gradings are used in the following description. Please make sure you know what they are before bidding. I have tried to be conservative in my ratings to avoid disappointment.
The record is housed in a laminated, flipback G&L sleeve. The cover would rate as excellent apart from a small amount of laminate creasing and a tiny name written in black biro on the black background of the rear of the sleeve. I have included photos of both. This means I have graded the cover as VERY GOOD. The record itself comes housed in a standard 1966 Emitex sleeve which is in EXCELLENT condition.
The vinyl is in generally VERY GOOD condition. It plays well throughout but with background crackle, which at times in quiet passages is a little intrusive. Every track rates as very good except Here, There and Everywhere, which I would rate as good because of a little more noticeable crackle (It is the quietest track). The record was play tested on a Pro-Ject Debut with a fairly high end Ortofon OM30 stylus (£170 stylus). Please be aware that a cheaper stylus will register more surface noise! Visually, there are some hairlines on the record but with these 60's mono pressings, they are of less concern.
Whilst this is not the best copy (and you would have to pay well into three figures for those!), this is a respectable one that still gives enjoyment and of course is an important historical and artistic item.
