The Beatles Revolver Mono In Shrink T2576 VG+ Excellent Clean Copy First Press

Up for sale is an excellent copy of Revolver by The Beatles. This is probably one of the best copies of any album I have from the 60's, especially on Capitol, the majority of their pressings I find are very dull looking and have those spiderweb marks on the surface of the vinyl. This album has probably the best sheen to it that I have seen in any Beatles album I own, other then later UK pressings which are in my personal collection. This is a great collectible copy, it will be hard to find another one in this nice of condition. 
Vinyl is in VG+ condition, like I said before it has the original sheen that it had when it was bought new. The album looks unplayed other then a couple mis-handling marks on the record surface. Side 2 has a 2.5" hairline scratch/mark extending from track 3 to 5. I put this on my turntable and there is no audible click during the music, there may be a light click when the needle goes into the deadwax between tracks. The scratch isn't feel-able with a light touch. That same mark has a mark that goes perpendicular about 1" long, which is worth noting but has no effect when played. Both sides have some minor marks when viewed under strong light but will have no effect on the sound quality. This will be cleaned on my VPI before it is shipped, and the record will be shipped outside of the cover in a poly sleeve to minimize seam splits. The vinyl comes with original inner sleeve which is in excellent condition, only has minor splits at the bottom of the sleeve. Record label has no visible spindle marks, and hole is nice and straight. 
Cover is in VG+/NM- condition, it still has original shrink wrap on the cover! I'd have to say that the cover looks like new other then 2 marks on the spine which are shown in the pictures, and the top left corner has a light crease/dent as seen in the pictures, and some very light yellowing where the shrink isn't covering the cover, which is only noticeable in the pictures. This looks to be a cutout, but instead of cutting part of the album, they put a staple in the top left corner. I removed it due to the album sleeve not going in all the way, but saved the staple, and will be included. The shrink is still intact in that area also.

Records will be shipped in a bag outside of cover in a poly bag and bubble wrap in a cardboard LP mailer with cardboard stiffener.

Records are not play graded and I will not accept returns dependent on sound quality. As a rule of thumb anything listed as VG and below "may" have lower sound quality then higher grades.

Still Sealed (SS)

Still in unopened shrink wrap, never been played. Will mostly be for new and limited edition releases.

NEAR MINT (NM)

Vinyl:

NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks” from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Major factory defects also must be absent; a record and label obviously pressed off center is not Near Mint. 

Sleeve:

NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)

Vinyl:

VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.

Sleeve:

VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.

Very Good (VG)

Vinyl:

Many of the imperfections found on a VG+ record are more obvious on a VG record. For many listeners, a VG record or sleeve will be worth the money. VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. 

Sleeve:

Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label. Many collectors who have jukeboxes will use VG records in them and not think twice. They remain a fine listening experience, just not the same as if it were in better shape.

VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or it or stamped a price tag on it, too.

Very Good Minus (VG–)

I do not sell any vinyl at this grade unless it is extremely rare. Certain covers may have this grade if the vinyl is VG or better. As a general rule this grade will be very ugly, and probably not play very well, with numerous skips, background noise, ticks and pops, etc.
