Description

I am selling more BEATLES LPs (duplicates) from my collection. So, please check my other auctions, too.

 

In this auction: 

 

·       “REVOLVER” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records T - 2576.

·       This is a MONO (Monaural) Pressing.

·       This LP was issued August 8, 1966.

·       This LP is a FIRST PRESSING MONO COPY. This is confirmed by the labels. First run labels credit songs to “Lennon-McCartney” (like the disc in this auction). Later pressings credit the songs to “John Lennon-Paul McCartney”.

·       The COVER is a Capitol-marked cover and the cover cardboard construction with the front cover slick overlapping the rear slick. This is the correct cover to go with this 1966-pressed vinyl. The cover has NO NUMBER printed at lower right of the rear cover which indicates this to be a cover issued with vinyl pressed at Capitol’s Scranton plant.

·       Capitol Records used symbols to designate the plant that pressed its vinyl. The VINYL has NO SYMBOL in the trail-of wax which confirms that the vinyl was ALSO pressed in Capitol’s Scranton Plant. Thus, the COVER contains the CORRECT VINYL pressing.

·       The COVER is graded NEAR MINT. It is STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap is nice and tight on the cover. There is store price sticker on the front shrink wrap. There is a very tiny bit of wear on the 2 corners at the top and bottom of the opening that were exposed by the shrink wrap.

·       The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION with a few very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       This LP comes with its ORIGINAL ORANGE CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE that was issued with first pressings of “Revolver”.

·       A VERY NICE ORIGINAL 1966 1st MONO PRESSING OF THIS LANDMARK BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection!
