RE-LISTED DUE TO THE TIME WASTER.
First pressing. August 5, 1966
The Beatles ?– Revolver
Unless buying a vinyl record that is SEALED, there will always be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling.
If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in classical and jazz records, which have quiet passages.

Notes
Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. or Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated flipback cover with small “stereo” on the front and with “Dr. Robert” (early variation). First pressing. August 5, 1966. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Plain white or sepia “LP advertising” inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 605-1; Side 2: YEX 606-1. This is how the labels first appeared on the shelves. Still using the sans serif Arial typeset. Also, these early labels misprint the side 2 track Doctor Robert as “Dr. Robert”. These early Sans-serif labels have each song title starting on a new line with the first line purely for “Taxman” and have “Eleanor Rigby” starting on the second line down. Also something to note on these original labels is that each song title was followed by song credits and then lead vocalist.
Vinyl Very Good Plus
Will show some signs that it has been played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces will show some signs of wear and have slight scuffs or very light scratches. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.
Sleeve Very Good Plus
The label may have some ring wear, discolouration or WOL. Sleeve will have some wear, lightly turned up corners, slight seam splits or small tears/sticker damage. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a VG+ record highly acceptable
