Description

This listing is for a Good copy of The Beatles - Revolver. I believe this is a first pressing, containing the withdrawn version of Tomorrow Never Knows.

The sleeve is in relatively good condition with no tears. Yellowing of the cover is apparent as well as some shelf wear around the sides. The record itself has background noise and occasional pops throughout, though I will listen to the album all the way through tonight and update the description with more specific details. The final image displays the biggest mark on the album, maybe someone with experience could clean it up, but I'm unsure.

I have listened to the record in full as to give a better description of the quality, rather than going from memory. There are two skips on the first track on side one, 'Taxman' at the end of the song. It skips at the lyrics "Aahh Mr. Wilson" and "Now my advice for those who die". This may be fixable, but I'm unsure as I've never repaired LPs.

 

The rest of the album (both sides) plays without any skips whatsoever. There is surface noise in the background that is only really noticeable at the quieter parts of any given song. It doesn't overpower the music at all. During the withdrawn mix of Tomorrow Never Knows the surface noise is inaudible.

 

The most noticeable mark on the record is the one in the last picture of the auction, though on close inspection it appears that this may be dirt or grime actually lying on top of the record, rather than a scratch, but I can't say for sure.
