If you like the later Beatles albums this is an excellent insight into their crafting of songs.  IMO the stereo remix is about perfect and reveals some details you couldn't hear on previous mixes. The sessions discs are neat and show the boys working out some of their best tunes.


I really think the mono mix on this set is the stand out. The revered 2014 Beatles In Mono seemed to be true to the original mono discs but I found it bit tame and muddy. This mono mix knocked my socks off and was sadly not offered as a stand alone disc.


I'm starting this set out cheap because the stereo and mono sleeves as well as the spine of the book got a good bump in them. The discs and book are otherwise perfect but there is external damage.


As noted above this set is complete and aside from the mono mix, the other discs are unplayed. I did open them to inspect for damage and they appear near mint/mint. Set includes the new stereo remix, sessions 2 LP set, mono remix, stereo and mono EP of Paperback Writer and Rain, and a beautiful book with great photos and anecdotes on the making of this epic album.
